G’day RPA how we all going out there? So have you guy’s ever wondered where those cheers, roars, screams and victory cries you hear on RPA are coming from? I’ll tell you folks, from RPA’s very own Battle Arena.

This is one of my very favorite places on RPA, where else can you see a Winged lion have a soaring arial battle with ferocious griffin? Or a victorian gent tangle with a mighty Hydra? The Battle Arena is truely one of the most awesome places on the site.

There is no better a place to win glory and prove your metal, the curtain raising tournament alone showed that the skill of the contestants and the thrill of the fight were are beyond measure by normal terms.

The tournament itself was a resounding success with many classic bouts including the nail biting finale between Ruan the blind dragon and Amleth the king of shadow warfare. In the end Auki’s Ruan came out victorious but it was the spectators that really won the day.

Beyond the final fight there were many great bouts, I fondly remember my loss to the eventual runner up Dreamland as one of the most fun things I’ve done on RPA, everywhere you looked thier were great writers testing thier metal against one another and competing for the thrill of victory. 

There is always time to venture into the arena and make a challenge to any of the resident stables of fighters that dwell within. Off the cuff one on one battles make some of the best reading I have ever read and are the Arena’s bread and butter, but the fun doesn’t stop there, why not get a pit teams of your wonderfull creations against each other or join forces with a friend to take the arena by storm. 

If organization is more your cup of tea though we have something fantatstic for you, keep an eye out for new tournaments for a chance to win acclaim and have great battling fun with a tangible goal at the end of the tunnel. There are no sweeter bragging rights than to stand glorious and triumphant at the top of the pile and know you worked and fought to be there.

Seriously guys if you ever want to get into some serious action with your writing head on down to Arena and jump right in, our combatants are always ready for a challenge and ready to fight. 

So there is my advice to you, get on down to the battle arena section of RPA, conveinatnly located right in the middle of the index page and challenge one of our resident fighters. You can even choose to take on me and my Killa’s…if you think you have what it takes.
